Well done, R! I am guilty of the double row too. I definitely organize according to how my brain works, genre and subgenre mostly. It’s been a while since I last purged. I think I’ll start with my wife’s books. 😂 To be fair they’re mostly thrillers…

I have a double raw too...you are such a good example for me! Last time I was organising my books I was thinking, if I move to another house, would I keep it? I got rid of a few book, but I have to do a second round. Thank you for sharing

What a fun post! Agree that the after is very satisfying.

I like to think another perk of setting books free is that it gets them into other readers’ hands while they’re still fresh - maybe my never-gonna-get-to is someone else’s dream read.

I have so many outdated "how to" books from when I was creating websites old-school with Dreamweaver. Does that even exist anymore since Wordpress took over? Ruthie, you've inspired me to clean house!
